“Fresh” at Hunter Gather Project in Houston

I’m excited to be one of the artists in “Fresh” at Hunter Gather Project as part of Print Houston 2015! “Fresh” looks at the many different ways in which contemporary artists are reconsidering, re-examining, and pushing traditional printmaking. Artists in the exhibition include Laura Grossett, Sandria Hu, Cathie Kayser, Marie Leterme, Cassie Normandy White. The exhibition runs May 29 – July 25, 2015.

Layers of Identity II — Santa Monica, CA and Jerusalem, Israel

Cheryl Rogers_MSM-composition 3g_72dpiMy print, MSM-composition 3g, has been on a bit of a journey since I sent it off last July. It is part of a group exhibition of printmaking titled Layers of Identity II, which was juried by Donna Stein of the Wende Museum in Culver City, California. The exhibition began in Arena One Gallery, Santa Monica, CA in August, 2014 and is currently exhibiting in the Jerusalem Print Workshop in Jerusalem, Israel. The Jerusalem exhibition opened on December 18th, 2014 and will run until February 12, 2015. Here’s a link to the Jerusalem Workshop exhibition:


Vivid Conversations Exhibition

I have some new prints up in the Vivid Conversations exhibition at the Carnegie Creative Center in Fort Collins, Colorado. The exhibition runs from November 5-15, 2014 and includes the work of 11 artists working in a variety of mediums.

Firehouse Art Center – Celebrating the Month of Printmaking

I was invited to be a part of Firehouse Art Center’s exhibition, Celebrating the Month of Printmaking. The Firehouse Art Center is located at 667 4th Avenue in Longmont, Colorado. The exhibition represents a range of printmaking techniques and features the work of Theresa Haberkorn (woodblock), Debbie Clapper (serigraphy), and myself (intaglio – etching). It runs from March 5 to April 6, 2014. I will be at the opening reception on Friday, March 14, 2014, 6-9pm for those of you in the area!


Month of Printmaking Denver (Mo’Print) is a celebration of the art of making original prints to inspire, educate and promote awareness through a variety of public events and exhibitions in Denver and the metropolitan region. Information about some of the printmaking events that will take place throughout March of 2014 can be found at www.moprint.org.
